Invite a Friend to Play!

Do you have a friend who wants to play slow pitch softball? Sign up together and save $10 on each of your registration fees! (friend must not have played BPAA softball previously). You must register together to each receive the $10 discount. Applies to Slow Pitch registrations only.

Team & Player Formation Policy

The Slow Pitch league is a house program that recognizes many girls choose this league in part for the opportunity to play with friends. For that reason, tryouts and player drafts are not used to form teams at any of the age levels. The Committee attempts to honor all friend requests, but we must also consider competitive balance by avoiding fielding teams that are significantly more or less experienced than the rest of the division. We cannot guarantee friend requests, but doing the following makes it easier to fulfill your request:

  • If your child wants to play with a friend, have both players list each other on the registration form
  • Register early! In cases where the number of requests cannot be accommodated on one team, requests will be processed in the order received. Requests submitted after the registration deadline are difficult to honor because team formation is already in progress
