BPAA Basketball will be using "Dibs" as our Volunteer Tracking Application. Please use the following procedure to claim a volunteer shift.

1. You must login to SportsEngine using the Login button in the upper right-hand corner of this website.
2. After you've logged in, click on the tab labeled "DIBS" on the right.
3. The current Basketball season's Active Dibs Session will appear on this page in the Dib Session section along with your player(s) name and completion status.
4. Click on the Basketball Volunteer Shifts link to display the volunteer shifts.  Use the Calendar view to display the shifts in a calendar format.
5. To claim a shift, click the link in the Item column.  You will need to answer a few questions to ensure we have your correct contact information.
6. When you arrive to your volunteer shift, you will be asked to sign the "sign-in" form so that you will receive credit for working.
7. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your shift to appear completed in our system.

Most volunteer shifts will include pre-season clerical shifts (In-Person Registration Assistant, Tryout Assistant, Picture Night Helper, Coach Packet Assembly, etc).  There will also be an opportunity to assist with equipment prep of basketballs and uniforms.

No, we have phased out the need for both the uniform and volunteer deposit checks.  With 700+ players in the program we were finding it difficult to require everyone to volunteer when we didn't have 700 volunteer shifts to fill in the season.  So in 2015, the committee changed from individual volunteer shifts to team-based volunteer shifts.  Your team will be assigned 2-3 volunteer slots to fill in a given season and it is up to your team to fill those slots.

Volunteers are still needed prior to teams forming!  We will credit your team with a completed shift once you are assigned to a team and you are exempt from working any remaining team-assigned volunteer shift.

Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches are exempt from the team-assigned volunteer shifts.
