**New location for evaluations for 2023 season!**

Both our Junior High and Senior High leagues will host player evaluation dates where your child will have the opportunity to participate in skill drills and team events so coaches can see your child play before drafting their team rosters. See the table below and mark your calendar appropriately. The junior high boys must attend both sessions, whereas the girls will just have one night of evaluations.  

Northwest Metro Basketball Association rules require that a draft be held to form teams of equal ability in each division.  ALL eligible players will be rostered to a team as long as we have a volunteer coach to lead the team.  We do NOT cut players based on evaluation results.  Only one coach and one assistant per team will be allowed to attend the draft.  Any child of the head or asst coach is automatically assigned to their team in the stated round of the draft. All other players will be selected in draft order by the coaches during their assigned turn.

Coach requests or teammate requests are not allowed! There is no limit on the number of players that may be selected from the previous year’s team as long as those players are available to be drafted during the coach's next assigned turn. Rules for the draft must be followed so that teams are formed fairly. There will be no exceptions!
