We need all BPAA Slow Pitch coaches to have a Sportsengine account – creating an account is free and only takes a couple of minutes. Please see the instructions attached below.

A background check and concussion training are required for all coaches and assistant coaches. Coaches - this is all done online now. Assistant coaches are also required to do both before participating in any practices or games.

Concussion Training

1. Go to this link: http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/headsup/online_training.html
2. Click on the button that says “Launch the Training Course”.
3. Enter your name as you'd like to have it appear on your completion certificate.
4. Click the "Play" button on the viewer to start the each lesson and complete the post-course quiz.
5. After the quiz, a certificate will be created for you with your name on it.
6. Ssve a copy of the certificate or save it electronically (right-click on the certificate itself and select “Save Picture As”)
7. Upload a copy of the document on the Background Check form.
