The Osseo-Park Center Youth Lacrosse Association has been a part of the Brooklyn Park Athletic Association since 2017. OPC/BPAA Youth Lacrosse welcomes players of all abilities and it is our mission to have each and every child on the field playing as much as possible. We have both Boys and Girls teams and it is our goal to have all interested children playing and enjoying the game of lacrosse.
Our coaches and volunteers are committed to providing a uniform and organized program emphasizing the basic and finer skills and strategies of the sport in order to prepare the player to compete at the next level. Players of all skill levels will have the opportunity to develop their game in a positive environment that promotes teamwork, friendships, fair play, good sportsmanship and most importantly, lots of fun!
If you have any questions about the sport in general or the upcoming season, please do not hesitate to reach out to any one of our Board Members!
While we were unable to have a regular 2020 season, we were proud to host a Summer Skills Clinic two nights a week for 5 weeks during July and August. Held at the new Park Center turf field, this clinic was a great opportunity for new players interested in playing to get a good introduction to the game of lacrosse and for returning players to sharpen their skills. The clinic was led by former and current OPC varsity players and participants were divided up by age and skill groups. Thank you for everyone that made this clinic possible. Thank you also for your patience as we worked through various challenges of 2020 and we look forward to seeing you out on the field in 2021.
