Parent & Coach Issue Escalation/Resolution Process

At any point during the season, we feel strongly that the best place to solve an issue or misunderstanding is as close to the people involved as possible.  Hence, when a parent or coach has an issue, their first action should be to take any time necessary to remain calm and discuss the issue with one another in a calm, professional manner.  If it takes a 24 hour cooling off period for the people involved to remain calm and respectful to one another, DO IT!  Remember, the kids are watching.

If an acceptable understanding or resolution cannot be formulated, the next step is to escalate and discuss the issue with the ??????? If these additional people cannot resolve the issue or build significant understanding to mitigate the problem, the details will be documented by the involved board member and promptly passed to ALL board members for review.  An investigation will be conducted and decisions will be made.

If after working with the BPBA Board you are still dissatisfied with the outcome, you may escalate your issue to the BPAA board via your contacts and we will discuss all materials and information collected up to that point regarding the subject matter.

If you are not comfortable with this process, we will require an acceptable (to us) reason why the person or persons in question have not honored this policy, so please remember that before you decide to circumvent this hierarchy.  The people in this chain of command will do their best to help resolve your issues and ensure that your kids are having the best experience possible.

Thank you and remember,

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!!!  :)
