Greetings to the Team at BMW OF MINNETONKA,

October 23, 2022

It was so heartening when we received your gift. Your generosity enabled us to equip approximately 100 children with new football helmets. We thank you so much for your help.

As you know, helmets are the key safety component for football players. In the past ten years the price of helmets has tripled. As a result, our organization was contemplating transferring the helmet expense on each family. Unfortunately, that would have created a financial hardship for many, which would have led to many children not having an opportunity to play the sport.

Football, as with any organized sport, can teach values such as fairness, teambuilding, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance, and respect. Organized sport has the power to provide a universal framework for learning values, thus contributing to the development of soft skills needed for responsible citizenship.

This gets us to the core purpose of the BPAA mission, which is to benefit the physical, mental, moral, and character development of the youth in our community, by providing sports programs and activities for boys and girls, regardless of ability or financial status. Your contribution is helping us sustain this mission in a remarkable way.

Because of you, BPAA can provide improved player safety for 10 more years.
