About BPAA Youth Football

Welcome to Brooklyn Park Football Program

Welcome!  Brooklyn Park Youth Football (BPAA) is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to offering young people in grades K through 8 an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football, the value of teamwork and to have fun doing it. The program has been designed, with parents' help, to contribute to the development of the young person's:

  1. Sense of Achievement
  2. Leadership Skills
  3. Positive Self-Image
  4. Social Skills
  5. Sense of Teamwork, and,
  6. Appreciation For What The Body Can Do

We are committed to providing an opportunity for as many children as possible to participate in football under the rules of the league. In an effort to increase the playing opportunities for the children, we will have an expanded game schedule against outside communities in the Twin Cities North Youth Football League.

To play the game is great…To win the game is greater…But to love the game is the greatest of all!

Good Sportsmanship, Parents Please Model It!

It's easy to be taken in by our own competitiveness and forget our manners when watching our children participate in games and practices. Many of the game officials and all of the coaches you will come in contact with are volunteers. Others are teenagers trying to learn how to officiate at a very basic level and earn a little money while doing so.

They are going to make decisions you don't agree with. They may even make some calls that are wrong. If you feel you must criticize someone, please do it privately in a calm manner.

If we all remember that Coaches coach, Players play and Parents cheer, everyone's experience with youth sports will be a lot more fun.
