The purpose of the Brooklyn Park Athletic Association (BPAA) is to benefit the physical, mental, moral, and character development of its members and of the youth in our community by providing major sports programs and activities for boys and girls, regardless of ability or financial status. (Article 1, BPAA By-Laws).

BPBA is an all volunteer organization dedicated to providing fun and education to hundreds of Brooklyn Park area youth through the sport of baseball.

President: Provides direction for the organization.  Leads monthly association and board meetings.  Serves as a contact for the BPAA general organization.

Treasurer: Maintains all finances for all leagues and Concession stand.

Head Commissioner: Communicates league direction to the multiple league commissioners.  Provides assistance with league issues when the specific league commissioner is unavailable or has a conflict on interest.  Assists with coordination of inter-league tournaments and other activities. Ensures all National League players are placed on teams.

Coach Director:  Interviews and help select coaching staff for the entire league.  Ensures all paperwork is completed by coaching staff.  This includes Background Checks and Concussion Training.  Coordinates Coach Training Sessions.

Secretary: Records notes at meetings.  Assists all areas with scheduling rooms for meetings or events.  

Equipment Coordinator: Maintains baseball equipment. 

Game Scheduler:  Creates and maintains all baseball calendars throughout the season for Brooklyn Park Baseball.  Creates House League schedules and is head umpire contact.

Apparel Director:  Maintains uniform inventory and spirit wear ordering.

Tryout Director:  Coordinates tryouts.  Coordinates player placement once tryouts are completed.  Ensures all players who tryout are communicated to.  Attends drafts for both Traveling League and American League.

Traveling Director:  Oversees all traveling teams and coaches in the program.

DIBS Director: Oversees DIBS input for the season.  Makes sure all shifts are covered.  If shifts are not covered, communicates with Concession Stand director and manager to fill those shifts.

Registration Director:  Oversees all processes of our registrations for both Dome nights and Season Registrations. 

MYAS Tournament Director:  Responsible for working with MYAS to host tournaments at our field(s). If you are not working the tournament, you would be responsible for finding someone or a Traveling Team to Host/Direct that particular tournament. Please ask for more details if interested in this position.

House Tournaments  Director: Oversees the process of creating brackets for tournaments with the League Commissioners. Updates brackets and makes sure all fields have concessions.  Coordinates, plans, and executes All-Star game with volunteer parents.  

Dome Night Director: Books, organizes, plans, and executes all BPBA Winter Dome Nights.  Works with Registration Director to make sure registration process is running properly.

Concession Stand Director:  Works with concession stand manager to ensure concession stand is staffed and product is maintained.

Concession Stand Manager:  A paid position with BPAA.  This person oversees the operation of the concession stand.  If interested in this position, please let someone from the BPBA board know.

Event Director: Oversees Opening Day with the Head Commissioner.     Coordinates, plans, and executes All-Star game with volunteer parents.
