SECRETARY’S
REPORT:
·
M/S/P.
TREASURER’S
REPORT:
·
Question about the $4,260 check to
BPBA for concession stand fees and traveling tournaments. Joe is going to check into
it.
·
Most soccer fees are in but not
deposited.
·
Tammy paid for the PO Box. We only have one key; would like another
and more names should be added to the list for the PO Box. Dave G. has the
key.
·
City user fee for baseball was paid
to Mark Palm.
·
Card and gift to Lora Edwards as
thanks for her work on the BPAA float for Tater
Daze.
·
M/S/P.
BASEBALL -
Joe
·
June 30 is the all star game at
Northwoods.
·
A coach was ejected for foul
language at a recent tournament.
SOFTBALL –
Dave
·
No
problems.
·
Tournament on July
21/22.
SOCCER –
Valerie
·
We have 104 teams. About the same as last year – maybe a
couple more teams.
·
Starting July
17.
·
Slight overlap with
softball.
FOOTBALL –
Markus
·
The June 1 registration was poorly
attending. May not have next
year. The rest of the registrations
are set for July and one in August.
·
There was not enough interest for
girls’ flag football. Dave G.
suggested we try a one-day tournament and see how many show up to play for that
day.
BASKETBALL –
Tami
·
Submitted three bills for custodial
services.
·
A little over
budget.
·
Registration starts in
September.
·
Would like to get flyers out at
baseball/softball/soccer tournaments. Will e-mail a page to Dave C. and he’ll
put it in a tournament booklet.
·
Let Laurie know and she’ll get
registration information on the marquis. Running it weekdays is better than
weekends.
CITY –
Mark
·
Proposed our using RecTrack for registration. The City has used this for 8-10 years and
has had good support.
·
Dave G. will meet beforehand to gain
information regarding registration and payment procedures. A concern is parents might think we are
paid employees of the City and we might lose volunteers. Perhaps note that this is a volunteer
organization.
·
Laurie needs information for
soccer. Ward will be working with
her.
·
·
Northwoods fields need
maintenance as well.
OLD BUSINESS –
Dan
·
Need to check the front door at the
equipment shed. It’s off center so
hard to lock.
·
Linda’s retirement party is June 29
at
NEXT MEETING IS TUESDAY, JULY 25 AT
8:30 P.M. AT BROOKLYN PARK COMMUNITY CENTER CONFERENCE
