TREASURER'S REPORT:
*    Will have at next meeting.  At present do not have enough copies.

*    Having a sports camp on May 12 for grades 1-6 (age appropriate).  Coach Westermann and some of his assistants, together with BPAA coaches, will be present.
*    Will have a budget at the next meeting.
*    Two registrations are set for before school ends.
*    Talked to the field staff and Jay regarding fields.
*    Plans for a second field at Central is 3-5 years out.

BASKETBALL:
*    Season is over, was successful.
*    One problem in the 5th grade championship game - coach is out for the program.
*    Numbers up, overall went well.  120 teams.
*    Was $8 per hour per gym in Anoka.  This year got notice in November that there was an additional $5 charge per court.  Compromised for this year.  Next year it will be $13 per court.  Need to work the numbers into the budget for next year.
*    EZScoreboard - talked to Mohammed.  He is willing to meet before the sale finalizes to work out an agreement so it's better before the sale than after.
*    Insurance policy was $5,000.  Insurance cost is speculated based on number of games.

SOCCER:
*    Getting reach for the season, field-wise.
*    Will review rules, etc.
*    Registration dates should be on the website.

*    Will advertise with Tater Daze about the tournament.
*    A coach, Dave Contraris, passed away Thursday.  A memorial check to the family was sent by BPAA Baseball.  Visitation is tonight, funeral March 23.
*    Forgot the budget; will have at next meeting.
*    Discussed creating  a list of "bad coaches" so other sports are aware of possible problems.
*    Purchased four portable pitching mounds.  Will need storage for them, possibly warming house building?
*    Need to talk to softball regarding number of fields.

SOFTBALL:
*    Last formal registration is set for March 15.

CITY:
*    Busy with field scheduling for soccer and softball
*    Passed out sheets to get permits for "Special Events."  You will need a permit for concessions, a building permit for tents.  Also distributed Scheduling Policies and Procedures.

STORAGE SHED:
*    Did not present at the council meeting.
Discussion, including -
*    If charging a fee per athlete that means essentially two sports (basketball and soccer) will be funding most of the shed.
*    Possibly adjusting the cost across the sports, possibly paying off the shed in 5 years, etc.
*    Possibly need more than $25,000 up front.
*    Recommended that we have a letter from BPAA.
*    What if the shed isn't done by August?
*    Should we wait a year to build, but start collecting now so we have a larger downpayment?
*    Will the City leave Central Park shed up for another year?  Who decides to tear it down?

*    When we do present to City Council we should have the budgets for all sports and see if some can help out others.
